By the time lunch came around, Jon had picked up several more quests from classes, all of which increased the grade in the respective class and experience. Only Ms Quint seemed to have quests increase her respect. He also got his first yellow quest that day, which looked a bit harder than the standard quests. Jon started to wonder how many different quest grades there were.
Quest: Read two chapters out of Crime and Punishment
Yellow Quest: 8 page paper on similarity of Crime and Punishment to The Stranger by Camus exp +75, respect +15
Quest: Do math problem set
Quest: Do worksheet in Spanish
Jon also discovered that talking to peers could activate quests when they had a "?" over them. Jon got this one before math glass
Quest: Share math homework with Tim
He got +3 respect from Tim and +15 exp.
The rest of the day went smoothly, with Biff and Steve leaving him alone. Karyn met Jon at the usual spot at the end of the school day.
"Jon-boy! How's it goin'?"asked Karyn giving him a tight hug, "Missed ya today! What didja figure out?"
"Karyn, I figured out more about quests, especially since I have a bunch of them. Biff and Steve left me alone and I'm already partway done with my homework."
"Couldja help me with mine then?" asked Karyn with a smile and a "?" popped. Jon nodded to accept it as they went back to his place. Upstairs in the room, Jon helped Karyn with her homework and left her to finish it up as he did his. With his new intelligence he got his work done quickly and obtained another 45 exp. When they went downstairs for a drink, his mom had a "?" which he opened. His quest was to set the table, which he did with Karyn befoe going up and finishing up her homework together. +35 exp between the two. Apparently, quests were where it was at to get exp. Jon spotted the stone and picked it up. Maybe there was a way to level up even faster.
"I wish for 1000 exp,"said Jon. The stone didn't warm up.
"I wish to be level 4," said Jon. Again, the stone didn't react
"I wish for a file on my phone with the rules to this game that is easy to sort and search," said Jon,annoyed. The stone did nothing.
"I wish I knew why the stone isn't helping," shouted Jon. Suddenly, he knew the answer. Knowing the rules would be less interesting.
"That was like, such a cute idea, Jon. You're super smart," declared Karyn closing her books, "Well, Sarah will be here soon to pick me up for practice. Laters!"
"When were you on the cheer team?" asked JOn
"Since like, since I was a frosh, duh! When I walked in the head cheerleader told me I'd be perfect, and here we are. I'm totally Sarah's right-hand girl! See ya in the mornin' to change me back, cutie!" yelled Karyn as she blew a kiss to Jon leaving the room. Jon looked out his window and saw Sarah's car pull up as Karyn was saying her goodbyes to everyone downstairs. As Karyn was driven off, Jon realized that he would know some changes after EDIT, but not all. Deciding he wanted to get the reward for the yellow quest. He finished Crime and Punishment and then started and finished his paper after dinner. The exp was added which was followed by another 2 boxes

Jon thought about it for a bit, and considering adding to editor, but wanted to see what would happen if he put the skill point in something else. Plus, Help seemed useful right now as he was learning. The second level allowed him to see the rulebook. Maybe the rock nudged this skill into existence?

Before he got ready for bed, he looked at the rulebook. It was full of question marks. The number of pages, the descriptions of skills and just about all the text. The only words and letters were what he already knew. What he could figure out what the number of some things. There looked to be about 50 skills, 100s of items, 100s of pieces of equipment and 100s of accomplishments. The first page was a credit. Game Creator : Jon Gibson. Jon saw the time was 2am, and decided it was time to go to sleep. It was going to be another interesting day tomorrow.
